So, after a little pitch fit last night..I think we've solved the clutter issue - for now. I bought a sturdy rectangular laundry basket. We can drag it outside to collect all the stuff in the front yard and drag it inside at the end of the day. We'll see if they use it!

I like those cheap rubbermaid storage containers with a lid. They make them pretty big, and you can leave them outside. I'm glad that you solved your clutter problem.
Very nice solution. i like the rubbermaid tub idea that you can leave inside. I swear the bigger the get, the more crap, I mean belongings they accumulate.
