We had some great adventures in 2011!
One of them was Kurt's first flight.
Luckily, it was a teacher work-day so the kids were able to join us.
He was so thrilled to be in the air, at the controls for the first time.

and finally they park. Yep, there's no reverse on the little one's either.

Great post. Is he getting his pilots license or just up for some fun? Someday J would like to get his, but we are far away from him being able to clock enough hours to keep it. Also if he has his license he will want a plane, and we already have 4 RCs and two helicopters hanging from the spare room ceiling. In our apartment I just don't know where we would fit a full sized one. BTW the last two videos didn't work.
Is he taking flying lessons?
